We are very pleased to announce that Neville Gatoff of Gatoff & Co Chartered Certified Accountants has agreed to merge his practice with Jack Ross with effect from 30th June 2014.<\/p>\n
Neville and his staff will be moving into the Jack Ross Manchester offices and we will be looking after all of his clients.<\/p>\n
We have known Neville for a number of years. A few months ago we spoke about how we could help each other. It became clear that the pressures of modern accountancy and all the regulation that entails would have an impact on Neville\u2019s practice if things didn\u2019t change. The conversation naturally led to a merger between our two practices. We get on very well together, and we feel there is a natural affinity between us. Neville will be joining us as Business Services Partner.<\/p>\n
Over the years we have advised our clients to grow through acquisition, and so once again we have heeded our own advice. As you may know, we were established by Jack Ross in 1948. Jack Ross died in 1980 and given the strong brand and great reputation that he had built up, the remaining partners decided to keep the name. The brand and reputation has grown in that time. We believe the acquisition of the Gatoff & Co practice will continue to enhance our brand and reputation.<\/p>\n
Having advised clients over the years on acquiring businesses, we believe we are well placed to anticipate and minimise any disruption to our existing clients. Nonetheless there may be minor interruptions and we will endeavour to ensure service levels are maintained.<\/p>\n
